BUNN Commercial Coffee Grinders: An Overview

Bunn-O-Matic Corporation was founded in 1957 and has a complete coffee products range. They introduced first paper coffee filter in 1963 the “pourover” coffee brewer. They also deal in commercial coffee grinders and have subdivided commercial coffee grinders into two categories;

1. 1.       Portion Control Commercial Coffee Grinders:

You can use the portion control coffee grinders from BUNN for almost any type of coffee serving. The range of products comes under this umbrella is equipped to provide you the grinding for any blend of coffee. These are good for very broadest range of grinds and provide from coarse to very fine powder, whatever you want. The beauty is that you do not need to stop or change the burrs for the selection of grind. BUNN produces six products with different specifications under portion control commercial coffee grinders;

1.                                 I.            BrewWISE G92T HD DBC: BUNN produces commercial coffee grinders, BrewWISE Portion Control Grinder with 2 Hoppers and Digital Brewer Control is one which comes with two hoppers and can hold up to 2.7 KG of Coffee Beans in each. This can operate any combination of equipment without any error using wireless brewer-grinder interface via Smart Funnel® and Dual Soft Heat® DBC brewer.
2.                               II.            G92HD, G92T HD: This is another portion control grinder and comes with two hoppers where each hopper can hold 2.7 KG of coffee.
3.                             III.            FPG or FPG2-DBC: This product comes with either one or two hoppers and can accommodate up-to 8” tall French press. Its FPG-2 DBC with two hoppers can hold 1.36 KG of coffee in each hopper.
4.                             IV.            LPG: Low profile portion control grinder has 3.19”diameter burrs and can hold 2.72 KG of fresh coffee beans in it to grind.
5.                               V.            LPG-2E: This is another low profile portion control commercial coffee grinder with two hoppers. Each hopper can hold 1.36 KG of coffee beans.
6.                             VI.            G9HD, G9T HD: This is one of the portion control commercial grinders which has one hopper and can hold almost 4.1 KG of coffee.
7.                           VII.            MHG: Multi hopper grinder and storage system is one of the very good products among commercial coffee grinders. Its each hopper can hold up to 2.72 KG of coffee beans and this product is capable to keep individual coffee grind weight profiles. It also has a LCD display panel.

1. 2.       Bulk Grinding Commercial Coffee Grinders:

There are three commercial coffee grinders produced by BUNN which supports bulk coffee grinding.

1.                                 I.            G1:

Its hopper can hold 0.45 KG of coffee beans and it takes about thirty seconds to grind about one pound.

1.                               II.            G2:

Its hopper can hold 0.91 KG of coffee beans and it is also capable of grinding one pound of coffee in almost 3o seconds.

1.                             III.            G3:

Its hopper can hold almost 1.36 G of coffee beans and there is an option to select from one of the vast range of grindings.
